Recruit and retain 30 (15/cohort) academically talented, financially needy students; 80% will be retained and 80% will graduate with STEM degrees. Develop a model academic support program, that is validated through evaluation of program outcomes and findings from the embedded research study, to support STEM retention, persistence, and graduation, with a focus on building a sense of belonging, a productive mindset, and a sense of purpose.
