Checking Financial Aid Status

Many of the calls received are from students "checking on the status" of their financial aid. This information is available via PAWS. It provides links to any applicable on-line documents. It will also post financial aid award information when it has been processed.

Calling the Office of Financial Aid

The Office of Financial Aid uses a phone system to hold calls in the order they are received. When calling the Office of Financial Aid, please call 912-358-4162 and press option 6. Listen to the menu option and select the option that best fits the service needed. Some of calls are monitored and recorded for quality assurance. If your call gets disconnected, we are experience a higher than normal call volume, we apologize, and request that you please email us at finaid@savannahstate.edu.
