Minor in Applied Mathematics

The minor in Applied Mathematics at SSU offers enhanced upper level math courses with interdisciplinary real world applications.

This minor is be available to all majors at SSU, meaning that all faculty, campus-wide, are participating in interdisciplinary curriculum enhancements.

Other activities include

• Research training in applied math topics for five merit scholars/year (all applied math minors), 
• Professional Development workshops for faculty
• Professional Development for high school teachers

Students enrolled in Applied Math Minor can apply for a scholarship.
