Tigerworld Account Information
This account allows you to login to the campus computers and other local services. Many online services provided by the university may request this information as well. Do not respond to any email requesting that you provide your SSU username or password.
Your username is the first part of the email address to the left of the @ symbol. For example, if the email address is jdoe@savannahstate.edu, then the username is jdoe. If you're having trouble with your password, please use the information below to contact the helpdesk for assistance. Please be prepared to verify your identity when contacting the helpdesk to reset your password.
Students, you can reset your password using the following online form: Student Online Password Reset. If you're still having trouble, you can contact the helpdesk using the information below.
Two-Factor Authentication (DUO)
Savannah State works with DUO Security to provide two-factor authentication for some services. ONE USG is one of those online services that will require you to register a secondary challenge when logging in. The first challenge will be your Tigerworld username and password (First Factor Authentication). Next, you'll use the registration prompts provided after logging in for the first time to setup your preferred option for your secondary challenge (2nd Factor Authentication). The option chosen will be presented to you automatically for all future logins to online applications that require two-factor authentication. Click here to view the DUO guide to Two-Factor Authentication. If you have any questions, please use the contact information below to reach the helpdesk.
